The two Friendster Overlay templates has been updated recently. It has been modified to be user-friendly. There is less modifications you need to do before applying the layout to your Friendster profile.

Procedure/Instruction:

1. Download the latest version of the layout(s)
2. Extract or unzip the downloaded zip file to your computer. You may use any zip extractor (e.g. Winzip, Winrar, Stuffit).
3. There should be an HTML file (with a file extension of .html or .htm), with the name of your downloaded layout(s). Right click the file and choose Open with. If you can not find the Open With from the selection, hold the Shift key and right click the file simultaneously.
4. After you selected the Open With option, it will give you a list of programs that you can use to open or view the file. You may choose any of the following text editing program or HTML editor:
   1. Adobe Dreamweaver (or Macromedia Dreamweaver)
   2. Notepad (or Notepad++)
   3. MS Frontpage
   4. Wordpad
5. Once you open the file using one of these programs, it will show you the source code of the layout that you chose.
6. In the source code, there will be indicators where you can edit/insert/modify the codes. You can alter the rest of the source code with your own risk.
7. After you finish editing or modifying the source code, copy the whole source code and go to the Overlay Generator
8. Paste the layout's source code that you edited in the corresponding textbox/textform in the Overlay Generator. Then click the Generate button to generate the source code.
9. The source code in the textbox will be replaced with the generated overlay codes. Copy the generated overlay codes.
10. Add or install the Overlay application to your Friendster account.
11. Paste the generated codes to your Friendster application. (Go to Markyctrigger Support Forum to know the latest instruction on applying your Friendster Overlay into your Friendster profile.
12. Click the Update my profile button.
13. Preview your Overlay Template
